As fate would have it, Denise Tan and Neil Nguyen were meant to meet. Despite both living in Australia, neither knew of each other yet, they were both assigned to head to Washington DC, US for training; it was only then that Denise and Neil found each other and got together. And after spending two years together, Neil knew she was the one, and their love culminated in a grand dinner at the grand ballroom of Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. Many of the couple’s friends from all over the world flew in to Malaysia, not only to show their love and support, but also to experience a Chinese wedding which was replete with traditional practices. A day before the lavish dinner, guests got to witness the tea ceremony, which also included the gate crashing—which was endured by a group of Neil’s friends from Australia.
